WHO WE ARE?
MyPetStory limited liability company, based in Poland, Zamość (22-400 Zamość) at ul. Jasna 9, registered in the National Court Register (KRS) under the number 0000746613, with the Tax Identification Number (NIP) 9223059029 and REGON 381124557, will be the administrator of your personal data.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?
When registering an account, you only need to provide us with your email address. These are the data necessary to provide our service. Only later, we will ask you to provide your data such as: first name, last name, company name, and contact details. We request this information in order to have the ability to contact you and to precisely specify for whom we are providing our service. We also process your payment data and IP address.
LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
The main basis for processing your personal data is the contract that you enter into with us by registering an account on the MyPetStory web platform. Failure to provide data will result in the inability to register and, consequently, the contract will not be concluded. If you have given consent, MyPetStory Sp. z o.o. will also process your personal data for the purpose of sending information about our activities, events organized by us, educational materials offered, and other tools that can help in running your business. Consent for such activities is voluntary. Its absence does not entail any consequences.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR DATA?
Your data is necessary for us to provide our service. Therefore, we process data that enables us to contact you and that relates to payments, and we use it in our system. To a limited extent, we also share it with our trusted partners, without whom we would not be able to provide the service, such as server providers or payment processing entities. However, MyPetStory never shares customer data with data brokers or other unauthorized entities.
TO WHOM DO WE TRANSFER DATA?
We use the services of trusted external providers. We only transfer your data to the following categories of entities:
- accounting offices providing accounting services,
- entities handling payment systems,
- communication systems that allow us to contact you,
- hosting companies. We are also obliged to cooperate with law enforcement authorities and courts. If we are ordered to transfer your data, we will be obliged to do so.
HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?
Your data is stored and processed by us for as long as you use MyPetStory services. After the account is deleted, the processing of your data consists solely of their storage for a period corresponding to the statute of limitations to ensure your rights.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
Due to changes in the ways of protecting your data, we may be forced to update our privacy policy. We will inform you of this fact in a timely manner.
COOKIES
To continuously develop the application, we need to collect relevant information about our customers. Cookies provide statistical data on user traffic and their use of individual service pages. You have the option to disable the acceptance of cookies at any time in your browser, but please be aware that this may cause difficulties in using the application. Cookies are used by us solely to display personalized content for you. We never use them to collect personalized information about customers, and information obtained in this way is not collected or stored by us.
HOW TO DISABLE COOKIES
Cookies are stored in your browser’s cache. To display non-personalized content, such as what a first-time visitor to the site sees, you need to clear the cookie information in the browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and others) from your computer or phone user account. Instructions for disabling cookies in specific browsers: At any time, you can disable cookies for a specific site or for all connections from your browser. In the Mozilla Firefox browser In the “Tools” menu, select “Options” and then the “Privacy” tab. The browser allows you to select whether you do not want to be tracked at all or to delete individual cookies from individual sites. In addition to the option to clear cookies, there is a “More information” link that leads to a detailed description of the browser’s privacy features. In the Opera browser Press the “Opera” button in the upper left corner to open the menu and select “Settings”, then “Clear browsing history…”. In addition to the option to erase already set cookies, there is also a “Manage cookies…” button that leads to more advanced options for individual sites.
